Terms & Conditions for PASHA Holding Hackathon
1. Registration
Participation in the Hackathon is free of charge. Venue expenses, food, beverages, and other services are covered by the Organizer.
Participants must register through the provided link and submit accurate information. By registering, participants consent to the processing of their personal data in accordance with applicable laws.
Participants agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions and to contribute fairly and responsibly to developing innovative solutions within the Hackathon theme.
2. Eligibility Criteria
Participants must be at least 18 years old and:
- already working on a project related to the Hackathon theme; or
- participating as part of a legal entity; or
- possessing a solution that can be adapted to the Hackathon theme.
3. Participation Rules
Teams must consist of 3–6 members. The Organizer is not responsible for internal team disputes.
Participants must develop a Product aligned with Hackathon goals. The Product must:
- be original,
- not infringe third-party intellectual property rights,
- be free of viruses, spyware, or harmful components.
Participants confirm that submission of the Product does not violate any laws and that any award does not imply unethical influence or exchange of favors.
4. Winner Selection
Evaluation criteria include:
- Innovation & Creativity
- User Experience & Engagement
- Technical Feasibility & Sustainability
- Commercialization Potential
- Teamwork & Presentation
The Organizer may extend the evaluation period. Winners are selected exclusively by judges appointed by the Organizer.
Winners may be required to verify their identity. Failure to comply with requirements may result in disqualification.
5. Prizes
- 1st Place: 7000 AZN
- 2nd Place: 5000 AZN
- 3rd Place: 3000 AZN
Prizes are transferred to the team leader’s bank account. Banking details must be submitted within one month after the Hackathon.
Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be converted to cash equivalents.
Taxes and additional expenses not described in these Terms are the sole responsibility of the winners.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
Participants retain full ownership of their Products.
However, by submitting a Product, Participants grant the Organizer a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free worldwide license to:
- use, reproduce, modify, and create derivative works,
- publicly display or distribute the Product,
- sublicense these rights to third parties,
- publish the Participant’s name in connection with the Hackathon and the Product.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, PASHA Holding reserves exclusive usage rights for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Products.
7. General Conditions
The Organizer:
- is not liable for any direct or indirect damages,
- reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Hackathon,
- is not responsible for technical failures, data loss, or other system errors.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
If any provision becomes invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
